Loch Maberry: Stories of Bladnoch is an annual series celebrating the distillery’s most devoted admirers

Chapter Two celebrates Liz, the great-great-granddaughter of one of Bladnoch’s original founders. Together with Master Distiller Dr Nick Savage, she selected an 18 Year Old Single Malt matured in a Sherry Butt. The whisky reveals aromas of coffee creams and dark chocolate, a palate of peaches, apricot jam and coffee beans, and a long finish with nutty almonds.

Stories of Bladnoch

Loch Maberry: Stories of Bladnoch is an annual, limited-edition series created in collaboration with Bladnoch’s most passionate admirers. Each year, a customer works alongside Master Distiller Dr Nick Savage to select a cask for bottling, sharing their personal journey with Bladnoch and shaping a unique whisky experience for others to enjoy.

Elizabeth's Story

Elizabeth’s story with Bladnoch is one of heritage and reconnection. As the great-great-granddaughter of founder Thomas McClelland, her ties to the distillery run deep. Returning to Bladnoch gave her the chance to explore that legacy and discover her own admiration for the people and the craft that define it. This family connection is why she was chosen as the inspiration for the second release in Loch Maberry: Stories of Bladnoch.
