Stories of Bladnoch is an annual series of limited-edition single malts, each release inspired by someone whose life is deeply connected to the distillery. Guided by our Master Distiller, Dr Nick Savage, these individuals help select a single cask that reflects their story and their bond with Bladnoch.
From long-standing friends of the distillery to descendants of our founder, every chapter captures a unique perspective on Bladnoch’s past, present and future - bottled as a whisky that can never be repeated.
Chapter 2
Elizabeth’s story with Bladnoch is one of heritage and reconnection. As the great-great-granddaughter of founder Thomas McClelland, her ties to the distillery run deep. Returning to Bladnoch gave her the chance to explore that legacy and discover her own admiration for the people and the craft that define it.
Chapter 1
Mr Arnold’s story with Bladnoch began in Garlieston, a village close to the distillery. What started as a curiosity about single malt Scotch soon became a lasting passion, as he visited often and grew to admire both the craftsmanship of the whisky and the dedication of the people who make it.
